MONDAY 10TH APRIL, 2017 READ – Day: Col 1; Night: Deut 12-13
THEME: UNARTICULATED QUESTIONS
TEXT: JOHN 16: 5-6; 4: 10 -12; GENESIS 32: 29 -30
HYMN: EMHB 538 – What a friend we have in Jesus,

There are several thousands or millions of questions we could have loved to ask God or our fellow man. These unspoken questions border on things that affect our peace, joy, security, health, economy, family, destiny, etc. These questions are constantly there at the back of our minds. Many a times, we try to give answers to them by ourselves or relax by saying let the will of God be done. Others will conclude that life is sheer luck.
Questions like “Why should the innocent suffer?” Why should a virgin sister in Christ experience barrenness in marriage? Why should the only child of a Christian parent die in an accident? Why do good and honest people a times die early while the wicked live on and continue in their wickedness? Why should the first be the last and the last first? ‘These and many more are questions that often trouble our minds.
Beloved, whatever are the questions in your mind, due to the challenges in your life, family or career, be assured that the God who created you knows everything about your life and well-being. There are issues of life that we need to be quiet about and allow God fulfill His plan and propose in such matters.
Go to God in prayer on issues you do not understand in your life, family, ministry or in the society at large. God alone can proffer solution to every problem. Cast all your anxiety on Him for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Do not be discouraged, distressed or give into self-pity because of your challenges or condition, instead take them to God in prayer.

MEMORY VERSE: John 16: 5 “Now I am going to Him who sent me, yet none of you asks me, where are you going.” (NIV)
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, give answers to all my life challenges.
