FRIDAY 28TH APRIL, 2017 READ – Day: Mark 4; Night: Josh 21-22
THEME: IN THE FACE OF DEATH, TRUST HIM!
TEXT: DANIEL 3:13-25
HYMN: EMHB 634 – Will your anchor hold in the storms of life.
The highest form of difficulty a man is likely to face is to stand before a path that leads to his death and you have no alternative to reclaim your life. No one hears of the days of his death and roll out drums but rather becomes sober and possibly look for a way out of death. Life presents itself to us some of the times, as difficult and hard nut to crack and that is why the common saying that life is not a bed of roses come to play. But in all these, where does your anchor holds especially when all hopes are lost and the day becomes darker and darker? Trust Him! If life is not treating you well trust Him, when life is treating you a little better do not cast away your confidence. Do not trust in your riches, links or connections. The Bible says the horse is prepared for the battle but safety belongs to the Lord. So, all through the darker cloud and the brighter ones let your trust in Him keep you going.
In the storms of life He is in the boat even though it appears He is sleeping, He will handle the matter for you, and it won’t be late.
MEMORY VERSE: Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;”
PRAYER: Sail on Lord, with you in the boat I have no fear of the storms, help me Lord to hold on till you sail me to the shore.
